Dr. Lipsit received his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1975. Following a residency in diagnostic radiology at The George Washington University Medical Center and a fellowship in ultrasound at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, he returned to the George Washington University Hospital in 1979 to become the Director of Diagnostic Ultrasound. In 1981 he joined Washington Radiology Associates, the largest provider of outpatient medical imaging in the Washington metropolitan area. Dr. Lipsit served as President of WRA for 20 years and retired from active clinical practice in 2014. Dr. Lipsit has published articles in radiology journals and texts and has lectured both locally and abroad. He is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Radiology at the George Washington University School of Medicine and an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, Inova Campus. Mili graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Basis of Behavior. A winner of numerous writing awards in her youth, she has a keen understanding of excellent essays. As an undergraduate, she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society, conducted neuroscience and global health research, and was very involved with undergraduate campus life. She went on to attend medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. At Columbia, she served as vice-president of her class, directed the student-run free clinic for the uninsured community of Washington Heights, continued to conduct global health research in the Dominican Republic, and participated in numerous teaching activities for junior medical students and undergraduates. She has been a liaison between students and administration during medical school and served as a member of the admissions committee as well as an interviewer. For her dedication to the University and her potential as an alumnus of Columbia P&S, she was awarded the Columbia P&S Gold Medal award, the highest award for a graduating student at Columbia. She is currently completing her internal medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania.
