Raj graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering. After college, he pursued a post-baccalaureate program and obtained a Masters in Biosciences at the University of Pennsylvania. He then went on to attend the University of Medicine and Dentistry at New Jersey, where he was an interviewer for the admissions committee. At Columbia, Raj was intricately involved in the admissions committee, serving as a voting member for four years. He has extensive alumni interview experience as well for Columbia. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
