Reilly graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience. After college, he spent two years conducting neuroimaging research at the National Institute of Mental Health. He then went on to receive his MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he served as both an interviewer and a voting member of the admissions committee. Reilly is currently in training at Columbia University, where as a research track resident in psychiatry he studies experimental treatments for obsessive-compulsive disorder and schizophrenia. He has several years of experience with admissions at the undergraduate, medical school, and residency level. He enjoys working with students to help them improve their writing and interviewing skills, and to demystify the often confusing process of applying to medical school.
