- B.S. University of Virginia
Alex is a fourth year undergraduate neuroscience major at the University of Virginia applying to medical school in the upcoming cycle while I take a gap year. On my gap year he plans to tutor, travel, and work as an adaptive ski and snowboard instructor. He has spent most of my time at UVA as a volunteer EMT at our local rescue squad for all four years of college where he was a crew captain and trained many new EMTs. He also has been a member and leader of the club ski and snowboard team throughout college and worked in in a neuroimmunology lab for 3 years. Alex has extensive tutoring and mentorship experience, having served as a peer advisor at UVA.
Alex scored a 521 on his own MCAT and has also developed a study plans for my peers that have helped them score in the 97th to >99th percentiles.
