Ben graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University with a A.B. in Biomedical Engineering. He started medical school at Mount Sinai after working for a year as a full-time research associate in the Department of Pharmacology and Systems Therapeutics at Mount Sinai. During Medical School, Ben has been a leader in various student groups, participated in community service activities and free health clinics, and conducted a large amount of medical research. Between the third and fourth years of medical school, Ben was chosen to be one of the Paul Farmer Global Surgery Research Assistants at Harvard Medical School, and was able to work and perform research on global surgical systems in Brazil and India. He is currently applying to residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Ben has many years of teaching experience, which started in as a computer science and engineering teaching fellow in college, continuing as a teaching assistant in anatomy and as the surgical clerkship representative throughout medical school. He earned 260+ on both Step 1 and Step 2, and is eager to tutor for subjects related to the MCAT, medical school, Step 1, and Step 2.
