Faustine graduated with Honors from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Medical Anthropology and Global Health. As an undergraduate, she was a peer instructor in the Honors Program for two consecutive years, conducted qualitative research in medical anthropology, and was a member of the Varsity women’s soccer team, serving as captain during her final season.
Since starting medical school at UCSF, she has been involved in a variety of teaching, leadership, and clinical research experiences. She is currently spending a year between her third and fourth years conducting research with the UCSF Department of Dermatology and taking courses in clinical research, epidemiology, and biostatistics.
Faustine has over 10 years of teaching, tutoring, and mentoring experience. She believes in tailoring learning plans and study strategies to the unique strengths of each student. Her current interests include medical education, academic medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, infectious disease, and clinical research.
