Paarth graduated from UCSD with a B.S. in Biology in 2014. While there he held several active leadership roles and also conducted research in gastroenterology and microbiology for two years and has two publications from his research work. He is currently conducting research in clinical cardiology and hopes to get his third publication soon. His other interests include playing the guitar and watching sports. He is currently completing his third year of medical school.
Paarth has many years of teaching experience. He began tutoring in undergraduate school, where he tutored high-school level science and math courses. Paarth also spent a year in between undergraduate and medical school as a full time science tutor, teaching university-level science courses as well as SAT prep courses. While in medical school, Paarth was a school-approved peer tutor and taught neuroscience, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, and other medical school subjects. He received an Outstanding Tutor award from the medical school.
