Peter graduated in 2010 with Bachelor of Arts from Boston College. While applying for medical school, Peter worked as a full-time medical/research assistant at the Hospital for Special Surgery (NYC). He then went onto attend the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he is currently pursuing a medical degree as well as a masters in medical education.
During medical school, Peter held several leadership positions and became a member of Sigma Sigma Phi honor’s society. In addition, Peter has been actively involved in research. He has published over 15 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, has presented his research at domestic and international conferences and currently is an Associate Editor at the International Journal for Medical Students.
Peter has over ten years of teaching experience and was chosen to pursue a Master’s Degree in Medical Education. His extensive teaching experience and ability to demystify concepts has lead him to receive several teaching honors. He has tutored a wide array of students at various levels ranging from middle school to medical school. He believes that the key to success at the medical school level is to utilize interactive learning strategies to compartmentalize and master the large volume of material.
