Wasif graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a B.A. in Medical Science and minors in Philosophy and Spanish. Originally from Chicago, he moved to the east coast to attend Boston University as a member of the school’s Seven-Year Liberal Arts/Medical Education Program. During his time at Boston University, Wasif worked as a Peer Tutor in Inorganic chemistry, Organic chemistry, and Physics. He attended the Universidad Autonoma of Madrid while in Spain to pursue further studies in Hispanic literature and Spanish history.
After his 3rd year of undergraduate education, Wasif began his studies at the Boston University School of Medicine, where he took part in several research and QI projects, successfully passed policy in the AMA, and wrote articles for a student-run magazine at BUSM. He continually refined his study approach in an effort to make more time for rock climbing, writing, and spending time with friends.
Wasif has spent many hours tutoring in both formal and informal settings. He has experience both in promoting understanding of complex concepts in various courses and providing pragmatic advice on the best way to approach standardized tests. His philosophy is that with efficient preparation and the correct mindset, anyone can and should be able to approach their exam with the confidence to achieve their goal score.
