Bio

Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Deonté is a second-year MBA student at the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business. Before starting graduate school, he worked in admissions at Dartmouth College, UC Berkeley, and the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). He was also an elementary school teacher for KIPP Public Charter Schools.

As a first-generation college graduate, Deonté is passionate about helping others navigate the sometimes daunting college admissions process. He also enjoys helping students craft their own personal narratives to better connect them with their goals and interests. Outside of his work in college admissions, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his seven younger siblings.
