Bio

Julia Epelbaum was born and raised in Princeton, New Jersey. She has over ten years of teaching experience, and worked as both an academic tutor and school teacher since high school. She graduated with honors from McGill University in Montreal, Canada with a degree in cognitive science. After graduating, Julia continued her undergraduate neuroscience thesis research prior to matriculating to the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in Long Island, NY. In medical school, she continued to teach and mentor medical and undergraduate students. She scored >90th percentile for Step 1 and 2 and received honors in nearly all her clinical rotations. She is pursuing an anesthesiology residency. Julia is passionate about education and empowering students to achieve their academic and career goals! In her free time, she enjoys playing piano, hiking, and cooking.
