Dr. Heath graduated magna cum laude from Howard University in Washington, D.C., with a bachelor’s degree in biology through the Air Force ROTC scholarship program. She then matriculated at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, where she served as a student admissions committee member and interviewer. Dr. Heath completed a family medicine residency at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, and is board certified in family medicine. She has now mentored and advised hundreds of premedical students over the past 20 years and represents her alma mater as a military medical ambassador at pre-health professional fairs and panels. Dr. Heath holds master’s degrees in business administration and healthcare administration and is a certified physician executive. She loves traveling and has visited 23 countries thus far.
