Keyuree Satam was born in Mumbai, India and was raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated with highest honors from Harvard University with a major in neurobiology and a minor global health and health policy. During her time at Harvard, she was a term-time peer tutor for the introductory biology and chemistry classes. She also spent some time in Peru through the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children on health literacy projects, worked extensively in the Harvard College’s Alzheimer’s Buddies Club, and conducted basic science research on molecular signaling in neurodegenerative diseases. She received a 524 on her MCAT. She then joined Yale School of Medicine where she currently is pursuing an MD/MHS in the lab studying hemodynamics of arteriovenous fistula maturation through an NIH-NIDDK T35 Grant. She scored a 250+ on Step 1 and a 260+ on Step 2. She is excited to tutor and hopes she can help every student realize their full potential.
