Bio

Austin is a first-year medical student at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, where he is currently exploring specialty options. Prior to this, he obtained a degree in psychobiology from UCLA in 2021 and took a gap year during which he worked with MedSchoolCoach to assist numerous MCAT students in enhancing their scores. He is also actively involved in prostate cancer research, focusing on optimizing treatment pathways, which builds on his previous undergraduate work in translational prostate cancer.

Austin is passionate about teaching and working with students, and continues to do so in medical school. As an MCAT tutor, he places emphasis on high-yield material and effective strategies that can benefit all students. He possesses a strong ability to identify areas where students may be struggling and can simplify complex concepts to their core ideas. Furthermore, Austin stresses the importance of a well-rounded study schedule for success in MCAT preparation.
