Lisa graduated from Cornell University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and minor in psychology. During her undergraduate years, she conducted both organometallic chemistry and human development research, including an independent study on the relationship between online communication methods and mental wellbeing during the pandemic. After completing her undergraduate degree, she spent a year working with psychiatric patients at a nonprofit therapeutic farm. She is currently a medical student at Washington University in St. Louis.
As an MCAT tutor, Lisa is passionate about helping her students learn to love medicine through individualized tutoring methods and evidence-based learning strategies. She helps students see the MCAT process not as a grueling obstacle, but as the culmination and integration of subjects they are already passionate about. Also, as a mental health advocate, Lisa preaches the importance of optimizing the harmony between work and rest in achieving the best MCAT results.
