Dr. Chokova earned her Ph.D. from Harvard University, where she honed her expertise in academic research and innovative teaching methodologies. A summa cum laude graduate of Wellesley College in French and Italian Studies, she is fluent in multiple languages, including French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Russian. During her doctoral fellowship at Harvard, Dr. Chokova played a pivotal role in creating and delivering high-impact academic programming, integrating technology to enhance learning experiences, and fostering meaningful student engagement.
With extensive experience managing complex educational initiatives, Dr. Chokova has led curriculum development and program delivery at selective preparatory schools, including The Newman School in Boston and Riverdale Country School in New York City. She has also worked within the Boston Public Schools district, one of the most renowned public school systems in the country, where she designed and implemented strategies to enhance student engagement and success. Dr. Chokova’s ability to design and execute data-driven strategies has consistently improved educational outcomes, reflecting her commitment to excellence in pedagogy and program management. Currently, as Associate Director of Research at MedSchoolCoach, she leverages her background to oversee and develop innovative research mentorship initiatives that support student success in STEM.
In her free time, Dr. Chokova enjoys playing tennis, hiking and traveling.
