Myan Bhoopalam graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania as a Roy and Diana Vagelos Scholar with a triple major in Physics, Biochemistry, and Biophysics. He concurrently completed an M.S. in Physics during his 4 years at Penn. He is now a medical student at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine between his third and fourth years performing a dedicated year of bench research as a prestigious Dean’s Scholar. He is pursuing a residency position in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Myan has over a decade of teaching experience, mentoring over 100 students in test preparation, medical school admission, and research fellowships. He has created extensive free resources to help guide students interested in medicine and has been invited as a guest speaker at multiple universities to share his insights on the pre-med process. He has personally mastered test taking, scoring a perfect score on the SAT, 100th percentile on the MCAT, and 258 on USMLE Step 1. He is known for making complex concepts easy to understand and addressing test-taking anxiety. He is passionate about medical education and is eager to share his strategies to help students succeed.
