Bio

Paulina Chumakov graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with degrees in neuroscience and chemistry and a minor in biology. During her undergraduate career, Paulina participated in neuroscience research, worked as an EMT, and worked as a behavioral health technician for kids with autism. She has spent first gap year doing research at a start-up, working as a mental health counselor at a psychiatric hospital part-time, and volunteering with Hope Recovery. During her second gap year, she worked as a Behavioral Health Technician at the Duke North Durham Behavioral Health hospital and continues to volunteer.

Paulina has been teaching and tutoring for over nine years. She is originally from the Boston area and enjoys visiting her family and their chickens back in Massachusetts. She is currently looking into joining a rock-climbing gym or a Pilates studio!
