Tristan was born in Riverside, California but moved to Florida at a young age where his parents currently reside. While still in high school, he achieved his Associates of Arts degree from Daytona State College before attending University of South Florida in Tampa, FL on an academic scholarship. He graduated Suma cum laude with a Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences before taking a year to work as a Pharmacy Technician at Halifax Medical Center. He moved to Grenada to join St. George’s University SOM in August, 2017. While in his basic sciences he was invited to join the academic honor society. This gave him the opportunity to guide new students during their medical education, through individual tutoring sessions or running small group critical thinking workshop sessions. While helping students through the honor society, he worked with the school Academic Enhancing Program, where he guided a group of students throughout their first term of medical school. He is currently in his first rotation of 3rd year, internal medicine, in New Jersey. When time allows, he is passionate about weightlifting to keep a balanced school-health lifestyle. His goals are to help medical students reach their goals, and overcome test anxiety that come with these big exams.
