Bio

Dr. Bohannon graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln with a bachelor of science in nutrition science. He proceeded to medical school at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine where he was heavily involved in clinical anesthesiology research and advocacy work. He also served on the admissions committee as a student representative and voting member for two years. As a medical student, he earned a myriad of scholarships and awards for his advocacy and student involvement, including the Nebraska Medical Association’s Student Advocate of the Year Award and the University of Nebraska College of Medicine’s Student Impact Award.

Currently, Dr. Bohannon is a resident physician in the inaugural anesthesiology residency class at the University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center. He serves as the program’s representative to the university’s quality and patient safety council and resident member of the anesthesiology program evaluation committee.

Fun Fact
