We have been helping medical students through their journey to becoming a physician since 2007! Our first class had only five students. Now, we help close to a thousand students per year. We’ve helped over 12,000 students and counting! No other competitor can match our breadth of experience. Our advisors & tutors have over a hundred years of combined clinical and academic experience helping to ensure that you will get the best possible help.
We help students only through the medical school application process (not law school or business school, etc). As such, we only have actual physicians as our advisors (each of whom is listed online for you to view). Other companies have a “physician front”, i.e. someone who is the face of their company, but when you actually get down to advising and editing you are working with people who have no experience at all in medicine. Still other companies are part of a huge conglomeration of advising that spans medical school, law school, college, business, cooking school…you get the idea! We focus on one thing and one thing only – getting you into and through medical school.
Who does the world’s largest medical student organization recommend to it’s students for admissions consulting? Only MedSchoolCoach! The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is the oldest and largest independent association of physicians-in-training in the United States, and they have made MedSchoolCoach their exclusive provider of all things related to the admissions process. Why? Because of our track record of success and commitment to our students.
There are a plethora of test-preparation companies, tutoring providers and admissions consultants. They help students through the SAT, business school, law school, college and everything else under the sun. The problem with that is they are generic and unfocused. Our sole focus at MedSchoolCoach is medicine. Because of this, we have developed an unparalleled expertise in everything related to medical school.
Above all else, this is the thing that separates us from all our competitors. Our advisors and tutors really, truly care about the success of each and every student. We are a small business and have thrived only because we continue to go above and beyond for each and every student we work with. At the end of the process, your advisor will truly become a friend. That kind of relationship makes it easy to work with us and for us to give you honest advice that will improve your chances of success in the application and on tests.
Great help does not come cheaply. There are companies that offer similar services for less and there are those that offer them for much more. We feel we’ve done the best job we can in balancing quality advice from highly qualified physicians and the cost of our services. Also, make sure to understand what is included when you compare companies. Most of our packages include unlimited essay editing (our competitors include 2-3 edits max, then charge beyond that). We believe a great personal statement and great application takes time to develop, not just a few edits. We want to make sure you do not feel like you are ever “on the clock” when working with us. We’ll work with you until we are happy with the final product.

I was actually hesitant when I first used MedSchoolCoach; it was a lot of money and I wasn’t sure how much help I really needed. I am so glad that I ended up using their services! My advisor (Audrey Jordan) was phenomenal and helped me navigate the shipwreck that is medical school admissions even in the most challenging of times. The advice, edits, and support that I received though med school coach undoubtedly aided in my success to attend my top choice allopathic program in the fall.
MedSchoolCoach provided me with a phenomenal advisor that helped me perfect my primary and secondary essays. This led me to be accepted into two allopathic medical schools and interview throughout the country. I would highly recommend!
MCAT Tutoring with MedSchoolCoach was Awesome! Coral, Connor, and Ken were amazing tutors. My score went up 19 points from my diagnostic exam (496 to a 515) working with them. I am a sociology major and took the exam a month after finishing my first semester of biology. When I set my target score to 515 I thought I was being overly optimistic and I really wasn’t expecting to reach it the first go around. I purchased the platinum package and MedSchoolCoach’s master tutor Ken took my target score really seriously and worked with me to build a custom study schedule to get me there. Coral was my tutor for the Chem/Phys and Bio/Biochem sections and Connor for Psych/Soc. They were both awesome! They both had so much experience and knowledge about the exam and how things come up, and they really made sure I had everything down. Thank you guys so much for all your help!
MedSchoolCoach was an absolutely incredible service. I used them first for med school applications and I could not have been happier with the service they provided. Their counselors were responsive, and went so far out of their way to help put together the perfect application.
Extremely patient, helpful, insightful, and cooperative individuals. Truly have helped make my medical school application more competitive and I am more confident in not only my application and myself. Small investment for help from great people!
