Devin was born Buffalo, New York and raised in Connecticut. He graduated summa cum laude from Quinnipiac University with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences and received the President’s Award for graduating first in his class. During his time at Quinnipiac, he was a captain on the school’s NCAA Division 1 lacrosse team, served as a peer tutor, and conducted basic science research in a neurobiology lab. After graduating, he stayed at Quinnipiac University to continue conducting research in fulfillment of a master’s degree in molecular biology while completing his fifth year of NCAA eligibility on the lacrosse team.
In medical school, Devin has continued to teach, mentor, and advise undergraduate pre-medical students. He has also continued the research he began in his undergraduate lab, publishing several peer-reviewed articles. He passed Step 1 without a dedicated study period and scored a 262 on Step 2 CK while also scoring in the 90th percentile on his shelf exams. He also received honors in five out of six of his clinical rotations.
Collectively, Devin has been teaching for more than six years and has experience tutoring and creating study schedules for the MCAT and USMLE Step 1 and 2 CK. He is passionate about mentoring and believes that with good direction and resilience every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Currently, Devin is a fourth-year medical student and has applied to diagnostic radiology residencies. He is interested in musculoskeletal radiology and plans to continue his research endeavors in the field. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, coaching lacrosse, and spending time in New York City with family and friends.
