Emmy exceeded my expectations in so many ways! The main thing I was looking for from a tutor was a study schedule that I could follow throughout dedicated. Emmy worked with me throughout dedicated to create a schedule that not only integrated everything we wanted to cover, but also was fluid and allowed for changes as they came up, even if they were last minute. She helped incorporate resources that would target my weaker areas as they came up. In addition to self-identified weaknesses, Emmy helped me identify areas that could use more attention by reviewing my practice exams and UWorld blocks. Our review sessions always taught me so much, and I especially loved how she made them interactive whether it was implementing the Socratic method or hosting Jeopardy! Emmy was incredibly easy to communicate and be honest with and she prioritized fostering a nonjudgemental zone. This allowed us stay on the same page regarding my progress and helped to create a really open and productive tutor-student relationship. She was always only a text away and made sure I knew I could always reach out regardless of what the issue was. I could tell she truly cared about my success and wanted to help me in any way she could. To me, that’s the greatest and truest sign of an exceptional teacher. I wish I had some suggestions for improvement, but I am honestly just so thrilled and pleased with my experience. She did everything she could to help me succeed, and I am so grateful to have had her guide me through dedicated.
