Bio

During her late high school career, Dr. John spent a good portion of her time applying to BS/MD programs. Though she didn’t end up at one herself, she used the knowledge that she acquired to help two of her younger siblings through the process, landing them both at prestigious BS/MD programs.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University in 3 years and received a 50% scholarship to attend medical school at the UCF College of Medicine. While at UCF she assisted the admissions committee with their work. During her residency at Rutgers University she continued to assist with admissions, learning all about the qualities that medical schools look for in a student.

After interviewing at 20 different programs, she received her top-choice of fellowship at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. Here, she continues to interview residents applying for gastroenterology fellowship, the most competitive internal medicine specialty.
