Bio
Lancelot is currently a medical student at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He volunteers with the Center for Surgical Health, a program that assists uninsured patients requiring surgical care to obtain insurance and guide them through treatment. Prior to medical school, Lancelot graduated from Cornell University summa cum laude with a B.A. in Biology and Chemistry. During his time at Cornell, Lancelot researched the establishment of cell polarity in budding yeast in a biochemical lab and wrote a Senior Honors Thesis summarizing his work. He also worked as a biochemistry teaching assistant and mentored local middle school students to improve their writing skills.
As an MCAT tutor, Lancelot personalizes his teaching to best cater to his students’ needs. He helps students identify their strengths and weaknesses and focus their studying efforts on areas where they can improve most. Lancelot works through concepts with students and quizzes them periodically to solidify their content knowledge. He also understands that students may have busy schedules, and he works with them to establish a study plan that is both balanced and sustainable.
