Ria is a member of Northwestern University’s Class of 2023 working towards a degree in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Psychology. She is currently working in a clinical research lab at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine focused on implementing and testing technology-based physical activity interventions in cancer patients that have undergone or are currently undergoing treatment. Ria is also a part of the Northwestern chapter of Society of Women Engineers as a member of the outreach committee. She also spends her free time as a member of the club tennis team. Additionally she volunteers as a crisis counselor and has tutoring experience both from working as a senior calculus tutor at Northwestern and volunteering for Tutoring Chicago. As an MCAT tutor, she recognizes that not every student is the same and strives to find the style of learning that is best for each and every student.
