Madhavi was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s six-year BA/MD program. She also worked as an NIH medical research scholar during the 2021-2022 academic year with a focus on head and neck oncology. Recently, she started her residency in otolaryngology at the University of California, San Diego.
Madhavi has several years of experience tutoring in both group and one-on-one settings, including tutoring three semesters of pharmacology as well as facilitating clinical practice of medicine learning groups for younger medical students. She scored greater than a 250 on Step 1 and greater than 255 on Step 2, and is excited to work with students to help them achieve their personal goals through active learning strategies and resource management.
In her free time, Madhavi loves painting acrylic landscapes, frequenting trivia nights, exploring restaurants in new cities, and learning a bit about flag designs across the world.
