What Students Say

Bio

Dominic graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy-neuroscience-psychology (PNP) and a minor in religious studies. In addition to his well-rounded undergraduate education, Dominic leverages his experiences as a community health worker, trained listener/counselor, EMT, and psych/cellular bio research assistant to ground his lessons in practical application and genuine interest.

Growing up, Dominic pursued various interests; by the time he graduated from high school, he had won gold at taekwondo nationals and received acceptances to Rhode Island School of Design and the US Air Force Academy (in addition to other universities). In college, he found medicine. Through his health-related experiences, he soon understood the frustration and isolation associated with health struggles.

As an MCAT tutor and tutor trainer, Dominic encourages critical thinking by making connections to daily life and walking through multi-step problems. He loves creating “lightbulb” moments that contribute to tangible improvement.
