Adam Opitz-Leewe was born and raised in upstate New York. He graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 from SUNY Albany with a degree in biology and anthropology. Throughout college, and during his gap year before medical school, Adam worked as an emergency department scribe trainer and hospice volunteer. In medical school, Adam received a 268 on Step 1 and 279 on Step 2 CK, and he scored in the >90th percentile on all his shelf exams. He has experience as a peer tutor at his medical school and is excited to help students unlock their potential by creating effective study plans and strategies. He plans on pursuing anesthesiology in residency.
