Matthew Su is a student at Rice University expecting to graduate in 2023 with a major in neuroscience and a minor in data science. At Rice, Matthew is involved in various research projects, from assessing the neuropsychological and behavioral function of veterans to looking at the effectiveness of neural stem cell grafts in restoring motor function. Outside of academics, Matthew serves as the president of the Rice Club Tennis team. He is passionate about combining community service and teaching opportunities in tennis and has worked with Special Olympics to teach tennis to disabled athletes.
As an MCAT tutor, Matthew recognizes each student’s strengths and weaknesses and works enthusiastically to develop an individualized study plan. He stresses the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and wants his students to not only achieve their dream score, but also develop life-long study habits that they can carry on to medical school and beyond.
