Dr. Rajani grew up in Maryland and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. During her undergraduate years, she worked as a biology tutor as well as a teaching assistant for physics. After graduating, she attended West Virginia University for medical school and then completed an internal medicine residency at Inova Health System in Virginia.
Currently, Dr. Rajani works as a primary care physician, enjoying the continuity of seeing patients over time to help them adopt healthier lifestyles. She finds that the most rewarding aspect of primary care medicine is seeing patients make lifestyle changes that directly and positively impact their quality of life. She also enjoys working with and mentoring the next generation of physicians in resident clinic.
Recently, Dr. Rajani took the boards for the College of Lifestyle Medicine and passed, earning the distinction of Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine (DipABLM).
