Brooke was born and raised in Henry County, Georgia, located 30 minutes south of Atlanta. She graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with a degree in biochemistry. During undergrad, she participated in peer-tutoring, basic science research, and served as a teaching assistant for the university’s honors college courses. After graduating, she began medical school at the Medical College of Georgia.
Since starting medical school, Brooke has spent time mentoring and teaching students. She has also developed educational programs that were incorporated into her school’s curriculum. She passed Step 1 on her first attempt, scored a 276 on Step 2 CK, and scored in the 90th percentiles on all of her shelf exams. She also received honors in all of her clinical rotations.
Brooke enjoys developing detailed study plans and discussing test-taking strategies with her peers. She strongly believes that setting achievable goals, committing to hard work, and finding balance with other activities allows for success and the ability for students to achieve their dreams.
Currently, Brooke is a third-year medical student and will likely apply to diagnostic radiology residencies. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball and tennis, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her friends and family.
