Dr. Sara Auran graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. During this time, she worked alongside an internal medicine physician in private practice. She went on to complete medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and then transitioned to her pediatrics training at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. While in medical school, she received the AMWA Glasgow Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement Award, an award honoring women who graduated in the top 10% of their medical school class.
Beyond Dr. Auran’s education, she was involved in the interviewing and admissions processes while in medical school and residency and served on the residency leadership committee. Additionally, she is passionate about helping others achieve their goal of becoming a physician and has mentored many students on their paths. She now works in the health tech industry, aiming to improve health outcomes through data and analytics.
