Dr. Webb graduated from Princeton University with an Artium Baccalaureus degree in molecular biology and a minor in Russian studies. She then became an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. After she completed her residency in general surgery at Emory University, Dr. Webb joined the surgical faculty at Emory as a VA-based surgeon. She then returned to UT Southwestern as chief of all surgical specialties at the Dallas VA.
Dr. Webb has served on the surgical resident education committee at Emory University and has participated in the resident selection process at Emory and at UT Southwestern. Currently, Dr. Webb is retired from practice.

Dr. Webb is the founding board chair of The Museum School of Avondale Estates, a public charter school. She led the grassroots community effort to conceptualize, design, and implement the unique school model. The Museum School has been a leader in Georgia public education since opening in 2010.
