Dr. Ferdinand graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience. After taking a gap year, she attended Emory University School of Medicine and served on the admissions committee as a student interviewer and ambassador. She also worked as a medical school tutor during medical school, helping several medical students pass the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) and their clinical rotations. After graduating, Dr. Ferdinand completed her intern year at the University of Miami and trained in dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She is currently enrolled in the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona.
