Bio: R.J. holds writing degrees from The University of Colorado, The University of Texas at Austin, and a doctorate in Rhetoric and Writing from The University of Texas at El Paso. He has taught English and writing at the college and graduate level throughout the United States and in Beijing, China. He also worked for several years as an administrative coordinator and research coordinator on breast cancer and skin cancer grants at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.
