Joyce Lee graduated from Brown University with a degree in biology and international public affairs. As an undergraduate student, Joyce worked on research projects focused on the etiology of pulmonary diseases and treatments for them. Her studies in both the sciences and humanities have strengthened the active reading and critical thinking strategies that will help students break down difficult passages on the MCAT across all four subjects.
As an MCAT tutor, Joyce focuses on learning each student’s unique background to maximize their strengths and improve their weaknesses. In addition, she emphasizes the importance of test-taking strategies to maximize success on the exam. Lastly, Joyce takes special care to her students’ well-being as they tackle the daunting task of the MCAT.
