Kalliope (Kalli) Wood, M.A., has centered herself as a guide to help others achieve their career and educational goals. For over ten years, she has provided assistance for students in higher education and held positions as an academic advisor and career/pre-health specialist, writing tutor, and academic coach. Her work as a pre-health specialist at a major university gave her the opportunity to successfully guide students through the application process towards a varied number of pre-health programs, including those seeking entry to medical school.
The dynamic shifts towards positive change Kalli observed from working with students one-on-one inspired her to pursue a master’s degree in counseling with a concentration in higher education. During this time, she dedicated herself towards the development of an on-campus group that aimed to bring international students together, as she felt it was extremely important to build a community for these students. She also previously founded and operated a writing and editing business which later evolved into a career coaching service. Kalli intently recognizes that everyone has subjective backgrounds, capabilities, and needs for development. Currently, she is working on her first non-fiction book. It is centered on the importance of personal development and growth.
Undergraduate: William Paterson University

Kalli started practicing yoga at age eleven and became a Reiki Level I pupil at 14. She is now a certified Hatha yoga teacher and Reiki master teacher.
