Bio

Selena is a medical student at UT Health San Antonio Long School of Medicine. Selena graduated from the University of California San Diego with a degree in Biology and minors in Business and Cognitive Science. She has worked in research in the field of developmental cognitive science, and her experience as a tutor in Spanish, biology, and academic writing have given her many skills applicable to the CARS and Psych/Soc sections of the MCAT. She has worked as a MedSchoolCoach MCAT tutor for over 2 years, and loves working with students on MCAT strategy, planning, and study techniques.

Selena specializes in teaching STEM students the strategies they will need to succeed on these sections, and she seeks to develop each student’s unique strengths by tailoring her approach to the individual.
