Bio

Verdah Ahmad was born and raised in Central New Jersey. She attended the Scholars for Medicine combined BA/MD program at Stony Brook University on Long Island, New York. During her undergraduate career, she developed a passion for providing mentorship to junior students and helping them navigate the often-confusing college process. In medical school, she continued to mentor, teach, and advise junior students as a teaching assistant for both pre-clinical and clinical courses. She received honors in nearly all her clinical rotations and was inducted into both the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. She scored >260 on USMLE Step 2.

Verdah’s tutoring style can be described as highly personalized and motivational. She enjoys meeting with students, assessing their strengths and areas for improvement, and collaborating on a plan to help them achieve their academic goals.
