You can register for the 2021 MCAT via The AAMC MCAT Registration Site. You will want to make sure you are registering early in the process. MCAT dates can fill up very fast and unlike other exams, it is not offered year round. We recommend that you start planning the process early in the year.

Registration for the MCAT is split into two different phases. For 2021, the registration status on November 10th, 2020. This will allow you to register for the Jan through  April test dates.  In February, May through September test dates open for registration. You will want to register early to get a testing center near you!

No, you cannot. The AAMC requires that you are only registered for one date at a time.  You will not be able to register for more than one test day until you release your registration. You can also re-register once you have taken the MCAT.

MCAT scores are released to students about a month after test date. You should take this into account when registering for the MCAT, as there is a point where it may not make sense to apply any longer that cycle. Check out When is the Latest I Should Take My MCAT for more information. Once the MCAT score is released, if you have applied your schools will automatically be updated with the score!

MCAT scores are released at 5 pm EST on the score release date.

In 2020, AAMC made the decision to shorten the MCAT given the testing center chaos that COVID caused. It is anticipated that the 2021 MCAT administration will return to the “longer” version of the exam.
