Ross taught both introductory and advanced physics courses at Brown University and The Wheeler School in Providence, RI, mentored high school interns in biotech R&D, and is currently a PhD candidate in physics at Johns Hopkins.

Bio

Ross is a Ph.D. candidate in the department of physics and astronomy at Johns Hopkins University. His research focuses on how cells organize their contents into dynamic, liquid-like networks of molecules called biomolecular condensates, which can carry out key biological functions like genome organization and regulation. Prior to attending Johns Hopkins, Ross spent two years as an associate scientist at Zeteo Tech, where he helped to transform cutting-edge research into commercially viable products across the defense, medical diagnostics, and transportation sectors.

Ross holds a master’s degree in physics from Johns Hopkins and a bachelor’s degree from Brown University, where he graduated magna cum laude with honors in physics. In addition to teaching and mentoring students at Brown, Ross also independently taught his own physics classes to high school seniors at the Wheeler School in Providence, Rhode Island.

Fun Fact
