Katelyn is a medical student at the University of Minnesota, an associate director of MedSchoolCoach’s MCAT program, and a Memphis native transplanted to the winter wonderland of Minnesota. She graduated from Marquette University with a degree in biomedical science and theology. After graduation, she began working in the MCAT prep industry, helping students in their own journeys toward medicine. Having worked with over 500 students in her decade-long teaching career, she is one of the senior-most MCAT instructors nationwide. Katelyn’s pedagogy is centered on teaching students the scientific knowledge and active study habits necessary for a strong MCAT performance as well as the critical thinking skills that will be essential on the MCAT and in the clinic. In addition to her MCAT tutoring experience, she has helped write and edit many of the most widely used MCAT preparation materials and practice exams.
