Dr. Patel graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in neural sciences. As a founding member of the pre-health committee, an organization dedicated to helping students enhance their applications for careers in the health sciences, he provided invaluable support and resources for aspiring medical professionals. After taking a year off to pursue his research interests, Dr. Patel embarked on his medical training at Thomas Jefferson University’s Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During his time as a medical student, he was an active member of the steering committee of the DaCosta Learning Society, where he focused on enhancing mentorship and guidance for junior medical students, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
Dr. Patel completed his residency in anesthesiology at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, where he honed his clinical skills and deepened his commitment to patient care. Currently, he is advancing his expertise by completing a fellowship in regional anesthesiology and acute pain medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. In this role, he continues to enjoy teaching residents and medical students, sharing his knowledge and experience to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals. Dr. Patel’s dedication to education and patient care underscores his commitment to excellence in the medical field.
