Bio
Natalya is currently an MD/MPH candidate at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Phoenix. They graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology and a minor in French. Their passion for education stems from extensive experience throughout their undergraduate career working with underserved high school students and serving as a teaching assistant for an undergraduate public health course. Natalya’s approach to MCAT tutoring is supported by interdisciplinary experiences working in clinical research and crisis counseling reflecting competency in the sciences and interpersonal communication alike.
Natalya’s philosophy as an MCAT tutor is that by harnessing the most of a student’s motivations for entering medicine, they will be able to help students make the most of their MCAT preparation journey. While the MCAT is important, they also emphasize the role of a holistic balance and advocate for students to prioritize their hobbies and rest days as well during their MCAT studies. Through hundreds of hours of tutoring, they have practiced supporting students of all backgrounds to create balanced study plans that are catered to each student’s strengths. They look forward to (hopefully) working with you on achieving your MCAT goals!
