Dr. Farmer graduated from Seton Hall University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. During his undergraduate career, he spent two years working as a tutor in science and math. He obtained his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and was an active participant of the Student National Medical Association. As a member of the organization, he played an active role in mentoring high school and undergraduate students pursuing careers in medicine. During his fourth year, he served on the medical school’s admissions committee. Dr. Farmer recently completed his emergency medicine residency at New York University (NYU), where he taught medical students and participated on the residency’s admissions committee. He currently works as an emergency medicine attending at a teaching hospital in the northeast. Dr. Farmer is also an avid sports fan, with his favorite teams including the LA Lakers, NY Giants, and, of course, the Seton Hall Pirates. He also enjoys attending comedy clubs and watching medical dramas.
