Dr. Veyg was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up, his mother, a nurse, inspired him to pursue a career in healthcare. He attended medical school at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he participated in numerous clinical research projects, leading him to interventional radiology. Upon graduating medical school, Dr. Veyg was named an “American Medical Association Physician of Tomorrow” and was also inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi honor society. Dr. Veyg’s clinical and research interests include the treatment of peripheral vascular disease and genitourinary interventions. In addition to working with students on their medical school and residency applications, he is also a master USMLE tutor at MedSchoolCoach. Outside of medicine and teaching, Dr. Veyg enjoys cycling, trying new restaurants in New York City, and planning his next trip abroad.
