Alex studies biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and will apply to medical school in the 2024/2025 cycle. He is certified as an EMT, and is passionate about his work in Los Angeles County, where he specializes in mental health cases. He also works in a microbiology laboratory. In both of these roles, Alex thrives in new and challenging environments and enjoys solving new problems via collaboration.
Alex brings this collaborative, peer-to-peer approach to his tutoring, and encourages working with students to solve problems and understand concepts. Specifically, he creates digestible lessons on difficult concepts and works through MCAT passages and questions from start to finish.
