Bio

Hanifa Abdul Sabur is a graduate of Swarthmore College and Columbia University with over 15 years of experience guiding students toward accomplishing their academic and career goals. As a college admissions advisor, she has helped a diverse range of applicants, including pre-med and BS/MD candidates, successfully earn coveted spots at some of the United States’ top colleges and universities, including Cornell, Dartmouth, Johns Hopkins, Georgetown, UCLA, Tufts, and Carnegie Mellon University.

Drawing from her background as an academic advisor, Hanifa is deeply invested in helping students put their best foot forward in their applications to colleges that are a great fit for them and thrive once they arrive. Her approach empowers students to navigate the challenges of higher education with confidence and competence.

Fun Fact

Hanifa studied cultural anthropology as a doctoral student at Columbia, where she also taught course sections on Native American identity, archaeology, and Muslim societies as a teaching assistant.
