Seant is an honors graduate from California State University, Northridge with a bachelor’s of science degree in microbiology. During his undergraduate studies, he worked in UCLA on research projects using stem cells to model early human neurodevelopment as well as determine the effects of HIV on brain cells. This research-focused background allows Seant to assist students with navigating passages found on the MCAT’s different science sections, which are adapted from the same journals professional researchers must navigate in order to understand recent scientific developments.
The schedule management skills Seant has developed balancing lab work, coursework, and extracurriculars allows him, as a tutor, to focus on providing productive, consistent study schedules and help students develop the habits necessary for them to stay on top of their MCAT study plan. He believes that fostering strong study habits and a healthy lifestyle is just as important as content mastery.
